Musica getutscht & Duo Accenti
more

This concert brings together two sopranos who are both well-known for their art of ornamentation. British soprano, Hannah Ely, and Indonesian singer, Erika Tandoni, have been  taking  a very close look at this art which has only been rediscovered in recent years. Erika Tandoni and the ensemble Musica getutscht will dedicate their programme to the secret arts of women. An exciting journey of discovery visiting female Italian poets and composers from the Renaissance and Early Baroque periods. Hannah Ely and Harry Buckoke will take us to the England of the Early Baroque era with its wonderful song tradition. This promises to be a varied and exciting evening.

Erika Tandiono, soprano · Julius Lorscheider, harpsichord · Bernhard Reichel, lute and theorbo
Hannah Ely, soprano · Harry Buckoke, viola da gamba and lyra viol

Meanwhile the get-together after the concert has become a cherished tradition at Schloss Weißenbrunn. It is always lovely to have a bite to eat and a drink and to chat about what you have listened to … and about all manner of things. Upon leaving you may leave a contribution in the honesty box, depending on how much you have consumed. We would, of course, also be delighted if you wanted to support our work with a further donation. For the Foundation’s account number click here.
