Whenever you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data is data by which you can be personally identified. This Data Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Note on the Data Controller
The Data Controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Pia Praetorius
Schlossstraße 2 · 96106 Ebern-Weißenbrunn
Tel. +49-9531 9448660
E-Mail. praetorius@schloss-weissenbrunn.de

The responsible data controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, e-mail addresses, etc.).

Withdrawal of your Consent to Data Processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. This does not affect the legality of any data processing carried out previous to this revocation.

Right to Object to Data Collection in Special Cases and to Direct Advertising (Art. 21 DSGVO)

IF DATA PROCESSING IS CARRIED OUT BASED ON ART. 6 (1)  E OR F DSGVO, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA AT ANY TIME FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING CAN BE FOUND IN THIS DATA PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR IF PROCESSING SERVES THE PURPOSE OF ASSERTING, EXERCISING OR DEFENDING LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION UNDER ARTICLE 21(1) OF THE DATA PROTECTION ACT).

Right of Appeal to the Competent Supervisory Authority

In the event of breaches of the DSGVO (German General Data Protection Regulation), persons affected shall have a right of appeal to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work or the location of the alleged breach. The right of appeal is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically, on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract, handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of those data to another responsible data controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS Encryption

For security reasons and in order to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, Deletion and Correction

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to be provided, free of charge, with information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing and, if applicable, the right to correction or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions concerning the subject of personal data, you may contact us at any time at the address given in the Legal Notice.

Right to Restriction of Processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. To do this, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the Legal Notice. The right to restriction of processing applies in the following cases:
If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need some time to check this. For the duration of this verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If the processing of your personal data happened/is happening unlawfully, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) DSGVO, your and our interests must be balanced. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may – apart from being stored – only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

Objection to Advertising E-mails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the scope of the obligatory provision of a legal notice, for purposes of sending advertising and information material which has not been expressly requested. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example by spam e-mails.

They are stored on your end device, either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies will be automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies will remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your terminal device when you access our site (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services provided by the third-party company (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behaviour or display advertising.

Cookies necessary to carry out the electronic communication process (necessary cookies) or to provide certain functions desired by you (functional cookies, e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimise the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) f DSGVO, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies has been requested, the storage of the cookies in question is based exclusively on this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 a DSGVO); consent can be revoked at any time.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, that you exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and that you activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

If cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you about this separately within the framework of this Data Privacy Notice and, if necessary, request your consent.

We use the “Real Cookie Banner” tool to manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and related consents. You can find details on how “Real Cookie Banner” works at

You can find details on how “Real Cookie Banner” works at https://devowl.io/de/rcb/datenverarbeitung/.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data in this context is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.

The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consent.

Server Log Files

The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

browser type and browser version
operating system used
referrer URL
host name of accessing computer
time of the server request
IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.

The collection of this data is based on Art. 6(1) f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in presenting this website free of technical errors and optimising it – the server log files must be recorded for this purpose.

Enquiries by E-mail, Telephone or Fax

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your enquiry including all personal data resulting from it (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data will be in accordance with Art. 6 (1) b DSGVO if your request is related to the performance of a contract or if it is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing will be based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) f DSGVO) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) a DSGVO) if this has been requested.

The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or until the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

5. Analysis Tools and Advertising

1&1 Web Analytics

This website uses the analysis services of 1&1 Web Analytics. The provider is 1&1 IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, D – 56410 Montabaur. The scope of the analyses with 1&1 includes analysis of visitor numbers and behaviour (e.g. number of page views, duration of a website visit, bounce rates), visitor sources (i.e. from which page the visitor was referred), visitor locations as well as technical data (browser and operating system versions). For this purpose, 1&1 will in particular store the following data:

referrer (previously visited website)
requested website or file
browser type and browser version
operating system used
type of device used
time of access
IP address in anonymised form (only used to determine the location of access).

According to 1&1, data collection is completely anonymised so that it cannot be traced back to individual persons. 1&1 Web Analytics does not store cookies.

The storage and analysis of the data is based on Art. 6 (1) f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both his website and advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing will be carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6(1) a DSGVO; this consent may be revoked at any time.

Order Processing

We have concluded an order processing contract with 1&1. This contract is intended to ensure that 1&1 handles your personal data in accordance with data protection regulations.

6. General Newsletter

Newsletter Data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require you to provide us with an e-mail address and with information which allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected or only on a voluntary basis. We will use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and will not pass it on to third parties.

The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form will be based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 (1) a DSGVO). You may at any time revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter, for example by using the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. This does not affect the legality of any data processing operations already carried out.

The data you provide us with for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter, and it will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you have unsubscribed from the newsletter. This does not affect any data stored by us for other purposes.

After you have unsubscribed from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address, if necessary, will be stored in a blacklist, by us or by the newsletter service provider, in order to prevent any future mailings. The blacklist data will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements for sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) f DSGVO). There is no time limit for storage in the blacklist. You may object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

Newsletter – Performance Measurement

Newsletters contain a so-called “web beacon”, i.e. a pixel-sized file which is retrieved whenever the newsletter is opened, either from our server or, if we use a dispatch service provider, from their server. Within the scope of this retrieval, technical information such as information on the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and the time of the retrieval is collected.

This information is used for the technical improvement of the services on the basis of the technical data or the target groups and their reading behaviour on the basis of their retrieval locations (which can be determined with the help of the IP address) or the access times. Statistical surveys also include determining whether newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. While, for technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients, it is neither our intention nor that of the dispatch service provider (if used) to monitor individual users. Rather these evaluations help us to learn about the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content corresponding to user interests.

Unfortunately, is it not possible to separately revoke performance measurement . If you object, the entire newsletter subscription must be cancelled.

7. Plugins and Tools

YouTube with Extended Data Protection

This website integrates YouTube videos. The operator of these pages is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use YouTube in extended data protection mode and with an additional plugin which provides static start images for all videos so that it is not necessary to connect to Google before starting a video. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video.

As soon as you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This informs the YouTube server about which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Furthermore, after starting a video, YouTube may save various cookies on your end device or use comparable recognition technologies (e.g. device fingerprinting). This way, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, to improve user experience and to prevent fraud attempts.

If necessary, further data processing may be triggered after the start of a YouTube video; we have no control of this.

We use YouTube to provide an appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art 6 (1) f DSGVO. If corresponding consent has been requested, data processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) a DSGVO; consent may be revoked at any time.

For further information on data protection at YouTube please refer to their privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
