»Her readiness to take risks seems to pay off. Last year, church musician and cantor, Pia Praetorius handed in her notice at St. Egidien in Nuremberg after nearly 20 years as cantor and concert organiser, and together with her husband bought the little castle of Weißenbrunn in the solitude just behind Ebern. They have developed it into a small, but excellent music centre. Recently, Pia Praetorius managed to win Els Biesemanns for two concerts in the castle’s music salon … Els Biesemans is one of the truly great pianists who travel the world for concerts.
