One of the focuses of the Music Academy Schloss Weißenbrunn is on the diminution practices of the 16th and 17th centuries. Competitions and courses are offered on this topic, and currently a comprehensive library both for the theory and practice is being set up. A growing collection of historical keyboard instruments supports the Schloss Weißenbrunn Music Academy in its goal of promoting historical performance practices.
A second focus is on the promotion of music projects which aim at giving people the chance to experience the role of music in different nations and cultures.
