Shortly after the beginning of the war, the Music Academy provided its guesthouse to Ukrainian musicians and their families who fled from their home country. Since then, a small ensemble has been established in the castle, regularly rehearsing and working together.
Natalie Papazoglu sings Ethno, Soul and Jazz Standards. She is very well-known in Ukraine and has won numerous Song Contests. Tatiana Yuriyevna has her own school for Jazz singing, and in addition to Jazz will also sing Ukrainian folk songs. The small ensemble was joined by two highly talented young Ukrainian guitarists who aim to study in Germany.

Two colours – Два кольори – is a very popular song in Ukraine. Apart from Ukrainian songs, there will also be Jazz, Ethno and Soul as well as some Spanish guitar music.

Duo L’Oro with harpist Babett Niclas and recorder player, Friederike Merkel, were our guests as recipients of the artist-in-residence scholarship and now return to play live on stage. They will play some of the programme shown in their concert film, and also perform music together with the Ukrainian musicians.
The newly built music pavilion designed by bergmeisterwolf of Brixen will safeguard good acoustics in the castle’s Baroque Garden.
