In the contect of a CD recording, we will be able to enjoy an exciting concert programme with two fantastic musicians.
The programme is a dialogue between generations: Beethoven, the master, and his highly talented pupil, Ferdinand Ries, who in recent years has, quite deservedly, come to the fore in festival and concert programmes.

Agata Sorotokin and Antonio Pellegrino are first prize winners at Early Music Vancouver’s 2025 Emerging Artist Competition and — joined by clarinettist Władysław Lech in their Trio Tenorizans — at the 2026 Early Music Competition of the Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci and the 2024 chamber music competition “À tre” in Trossingen. Recent highlights include an appearance in the Schloßkonzerte Bad Krozingen series and broadcasts on SWR Kultur. This year the duo also performs at the Utrecht Festival Oude Muziek and as artists in residence at the Virtuoso & Belcanto Festival in Lucca, Italy.

Antonio and Agata have served as the principal cellist and keyboardist of the European Union Baroque Orchestra. Antonio has appeared in halls such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, TivoliVredenburg Utrecht, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and Flagey Brussels. Agata is an award winner of this year’s Fanny Hensel Competition, organised by the Schloss Weißenbrunn Foundation. She recently performed under Enrico Onofri with the La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra in Mozart’s Idomeneo.
