Relief action for a Ukrainian children’s home

Please help with your donation for Children in Beresniki

We are committed to helping a children’s home in Western Ukraine and need your support. Due to attacks on the energy supply in the region, there is no heating and electricity. The weather is cold, and it is not possible to cook for the children. What is therefore most urgently needed is generators and a field kitchen.

In the Artek Recreation Home for Children
250 to 300 children between 7 and 16 years of age are looked after by 80 members of staff.

The three to four weeks the children can spend there are supposed to be a time for recovering a bit from all the horrors they lived through. We are particularly enthusiastic about the rich cultural programme offered – such as theatre and music performances as well as art courses.

Igor who lived in our guesthouse for six months and has meanwhile returned to Ukraine to work in this children’s home sent us a list of things which are most urgently needed. We try to buy as many things as possible from this list and get them there as soon as possible. 100 per cent of your donation will be used for the children.

The home would also need 40 laptops so that the children can join digital classes. If you have a working laptop you do not need any more, you can send it to us by 10 December 2022, at the address Schloss Weißenbrunn Stiftung, Schlossstraße 2, 96106 Ebern.

We would be very happy, if you could support us.
